Salima Mawani, Executive General ManagerSalima Mawani, our executive general manager is proud to invite you to the Yellowhead Inn.  Salima comes with a wealth of hospitality industry experience and her mission is to take Yellowhead Inn to the next level of Service, Comfort and Convenience.

Although Salima Mawani is a Chartered Accountant by profession, her passion is the hospitality industry since she was born and raised in a family tradition of hoteliers.
As Salima said: “...this is the only profession that draws upon all the skills I have, and more. What more excitement could anyone ask for?"

Ted Gardiner, our General Manager is a long term team leader at Yellowhead Inn, Edmonton. A true gentleman with a wealth of experience, he has the Yellowhead running like a well oiled machine and takes pride in knowing his guests.

Ted Gardiner is the heart and soul of our business and takes great pride in ensuring our guests are satisfied and well taken care of because for Ted Gardiner, our guests are his number one priority and concern, and he ensures all the staff share his vision and mission.

We are pleased and grateful to have such a loyal, dedicated and committed manager on our team.

Hamad, our Executive Chef has come in to shake things up and make a great menu even better. With over 30 years in the business, he has the experience necessary to make a major impact.

He has the ability to make our guests feel as if they are eating Mom's home cooked meal because Hamad takes pride in his "from scratch" recipes, particularly his pasta sauces and soups.

Hamad Haymour continues to surprise us with his daily creations and vast array of ethnic food ensembles, including, Greek, Italian, Lebanese, East Indian, etc. He keeps our daily lunch buffets, and weekend dinner buffets full of excitement and surprise.
His ultimate signature dish is the succulent steaks that he prepares and grills to perfection and pride of presentation.

Ian Allen, Night Manager

Ian Allen is a young, bright and talented individual, who keeps the Yellowhead Inn functioning and operating at its most critical period during the day. In addition, Ian is the 'guardian' of the hotel during the evening and night. Ian Allen makes sure that are guests are well taken care of and comfortable.
